Flatanger is a new proving ground for hard sport climbing and has been attracting elite climbers from around the world.

One of the most astonishing crags in the area is the Hanshallaren cave, which is set inside a sprawling granite cathedral. Its dark interior opens like the giant mouth of a Norse god. It has turned into one of Europe’s premier crags.

If you do not have much experience in climbing, but would like to try it, do not worry. Climb Flatanger has got crags for all ages and levels. Read more about our crags here.

Climb Flatanger is located on the farm Strøm, with its panoramic views of the North-Trøndelag coast line. Strøm's agricultural area, surrounding mountains and fjords are making it a great place for recreational activities, such as hiking, bird-watching and fishing.
